Pictures

Here is Chi and Keagan playing trash trucks together. Let me rephrase that...Chi is playing with his trash truck, as Keagan likes to eat his.

More pictures

This is our "official" Easter picture. Yes, the front yard has been mowed as of this posting.
Chi's smile reminds me of my Aunt Robin. Never a serious face on him.

Here is Chi and Auldyn at the playground.

Free at last!

This afternoon was my last hoo-rah with SONIC. I guess not everyone got the memo, since I've received 2 phone calls from a store (take a hint: I DON'T GIVE A RATS PATUDY!). Seriously, though, I'm looking forward to a restful night's sleep. No alarm company calling me, nothing. Wow.

And, yes, I was finally able to cut the lawn AND take the kiddos to the park- all in the same day!!! Ahh, the life of the unemployed! Things that if I was able to get done working 80hrs a week, I'd never leave!

Chi, Auldyn, and I are going camping tomorrow night (weather permitting...may be kinda windy to pitch a tent). Christy and Keagan will join us Saturday AM. A bit of rain I can deal with, but wind makes camping miserable. We're going to Tugaloo up on Lake Hartwell, where we went with ARBC last year. It'll be nice to catch-up with my kids! Nothing like eating grilled-cheeses on a camp fire- providing the wind doesn't blow the fire out.

We've got a pleothra of pictures to post...hopefully will get to it manana.

And for those who were concerned with the lovely speeding ticket: only $165 and no points. Thanks, Joe!

And for those freaks who adore Elvis, his half-brother will be preaching at our Church on Sunday, April 1st. Wow. Actually, might go over big here in Jefferson! Scary.

Changes...

Sorry we haven't posted in a while...been kinda busy. I'll post more pictures tomorrow or Friday. But, I'll have more time now that Thursday, March 15th will be my last day with SONIC. After almost 2 years, I'm past the burnt-out stage and need a break. And no, I don't have a something else lined-up...yeah, ouch. Sooo, please PRAY (hard!) I find something else quick, preferably NOT in restaurant (but beggers can't be choosers!). Please also feel free to pay a mortgage payment or two if you want...it would be greatly appreciated ;)

Thanks for your prayers...we kinda need them about right now!

He will NEVER work for me...

This is why Chi will never, never work for me...he'd eat all the dern food!

Chi and Auldyn

I know we kinda live in Mayberry and all, but I'd be concerned having Andy and Barney here keeping me safe...kids at the INK place.

Auldyn's calling...

Christy took Keagan and Auldyn with her to Chi's fieldtrip to I.N.K...some sort of interactive kiddy place. In it, the kiddos can pretend to be different jobs within a community...policeman, soldier (see Keagan), restaurant worker, or in Auldyn's case- a receptionist and a hairdresser. She seems right at home!

Keagan has found his calling

Keagan crawls alot. But not the typical "baby" crawl...he crawls like an soldier: on his feet and elbows. Really funny to watch him slither across the floor. Well, Christy found a helmet for him, and it looks appropriate!

Auldyn's Tea Party

Auldyn and Christy had a tea party today. She is the cutiest thing since, well, she's the cutiest thing! She LOVES the Bell dress, though it's looking mighty ragged. She says she wants a "Cinderella" dress for her birthday (hint hint).

Chi

I guess Auldyn wanted to be shy in this picture. He and Aaron went on a fieldtrip with his pre-K class today to Publix. Got a tour, and he was excited to see them squish and bundle the emtpy boxes for recycling. My favorite part was decorating our own cookies at the end.

Tomorrow, his class is having a "Qu" wedding, where "Q" and "u" will be married. He's an usher. I wonder if Christy and I should be married now (just kidding!).

Keagan Sleeping

What I would give to just "fall asleep" whenever I could.... Keagan is now semi-crawling. He kinda moves on his belly like some Army special-ops soldier. Between that and rolling, he gets around quite well! He's eating like a horse; just like the other 2...we're thinking about taking up a donation to feed our kids.

My baby can sit-up, can yours?

He sits up now! Seems like yesterday he was born! Before we know it, he'll be in school like Chi!

Auldyn and Aaron

Here is Auldyn and I at in front of the big cow at Mayfield Dairy on Friday...they have the BEST ice cream- and for a buck-a-scoop, the price fits my budget, too.

FYI, Auldyn had Strawberry and I had Mint Chip. Forgot what Christy had (d'oh!). Chi was at school. If he only knew what fun he was missing, well, I'm glad he cannot read yet!

i-Witness Training

Here is a picture of the "i Witness" training at our House this past Sunday, led by Rod. We had 17 adults (pretty much the Crossroads "core") plus another 12 kids or so upstairs (and 2 downstairs that wouldn't go into the chaos upstairs...smart kids). I think we have finally found out how many people we can hold...and the number should be less than 17!
Some things the Fire Marshall just doesn't need to know.

Christy and the Kids

Here is a picture from just before Cmas of Christy and the kiddos (and the tail of Hershey).

Links

We've posted a few links (over to your left) of various things. The Dr. Dino site is really neat. He has a few presentations on creationism/evolution, and what the Bible says about it versus what is taught in schools today. Highly enjoyable, and very, very interesting!

Chi at Stone Mountain

Here's Chi climbing the wall at Stone Mountain. Yes, he did actually climb, and no, he did not make it to the top. Strong kid, though.

Christy and Auldyn

Christy and Auldyn playing "dress-up". Auldyn is attached to her yellow "Bell" dress, though it looks like it's been through war and back. She'd wear it 24/7 if we'd let her!

Keagan at Mayfield Dairy

Here's Keagan at Mayfield Dairy. We took a tour with Granny and Bing and everyone (including those in a stroller and those without hair (Aaron)) had to wear a hairnet. Cute kid!

In the 20th Century...finally

We figured this would be an easier way to share pictures of our family. We'll post photos as we take them (hopefully!). Enjoy!
